Birthdate: Frank's Arkansas birth certificate shows August 3, 1914 . The page copied from the family bible shows his birthdate as August 1, 1914. His son Frank Jr.'s March 14, 1938 Arkansas birth certificate however, lists Frank as age 26 on his last birthday, hence 27 on August 3, 1938. 1938 - 27 year of Age = 1911 as Frank's date of birth. Concerning his birthdate, Frank wrote "The Arkansas Bureau of Vital Statistics kept no birth records until 1914. I speculate on the veracity of mine" c-1.

I James Moore Sr. of Clay County, being deeply impressed with the thought of the uncertainty of life, have made this my last will and testament. I bequeath to my wife Ellender Moore one Hundred Dollars and my gray chairs, and to Esther Rose my cupboard and to Isabel Bowman, by daughter, by bureau to each of my daughters a cow apeice, likewise the bed that Isbel made and left with me I wish her to get it. I bequeath to my son John Moore ten dollars and to William Moore ten dollars and to Elias Moore ten dollars and to James Moore ten dollars after the above Legacy is paid my desire is that the balance of my estate whatsoever it is, should be equally divided between John More, William More, James More, Elias More, Ester Roose, Isbel Bowman, Mary Bowman, and I appoint William More and Thomas Bowman executors to this my last will and testament, Written this 21st day April, one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.

FRANKFORT, KY - 2 December 1991 - Laura Thomas Robertson, 57, died December 2, 1991 at Humana Hospital in Lexington after a long illness. She was the wife of Millard Robertson of Frankfort. She was an Owsley County native, the daughter of Sam and Lula Marshall Thomas and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She is also survived by five children, Miss Betty Jo Thomas, James Terry Robertson, Randy Robertson and Danny Sam Robertson, all of Frankfort and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Farmer, Louisville, KY. Other survivors include nine brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mattie Wilson, Connersville, IN; Mrs. Lizzie Lee Becknell, Norwood, OH; Mrs. Ethel Thomas, Clay Thomas, Wilson Thomas, Hayden Thomas, Clayton Thomas, Markus Thomas all of Ricetown, KY; Roscoe Thomas of Morrow, OH and three grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday, December 4 at the Presbyterian Church at Indian Creek with Rev. Joe Powlas officiating. Burial was in the Gabbard Cemetery with Searcy and Strong Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Obituary transcribed by Betty B. Gabbard
